If your goal is to do this, but the owner won't allow you, it's not going to happen. Simply read the forum rules. These will tell you what you can and can't do quickly and easily. The absence of links, and signatures, at the bottoms of posts is a clear sign online marketing is not allowed. You typically can't do direct advertising in any forum. If they did, then the entire place would be one giant billboard and people would not like it.

It doesn't take long to see that some people always seem to be coming up with new ideas and beginning new threads. I don't really care about it, but it creates impressions check out here in other people that are not always positive. Don't use all your great thread topic ideas at once. Spread them out over time.
